1. Agreement to Terms
By enrolling in Canopy's educational programmes, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with enrollment. These terms govern your participation in our financial education programmes in Singapore.
2. Definitions
- "Programme" refers to any educational offering provided by Canopy
- "Learner" means any person enrolled in a Canopy programme
- "We," "us," and "our" refer to Canopy
- "Materials" include all educational content, guides, and resources
3. Programme Enrollment
Enrollment requirements:
- Learners must be at least 18 years of age
- Accurate information must be provided during registration
- Payment must be completed before programme access is granted
- Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment
4. Payment Terms
All programme fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
- Full payment is required before programme commencement
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, PayNow, and credit cards
- Prices may change but enrolled learners pay the rate at time of enrollment
- All fees include GST where applicable
5. Refund Policy
Refunds are available under the following conditions:
- Full refund if cancelled 14 days before programme start
- 50% refund if cancelled 7-13 days before programme start
- No refund for cancellations less than 7 days before start
- Refunds processed within 14 business days
- Refunds issued to original payment method
6. Programme Delivery
We commit to:
- Deliver programmes according to published schedules
- Provide all materials and resources included in programme fees
- Maintain qualified educators with relevant expertise
- Notify learners promptly of any schedule changes
We reserve the right to cancel programmes with insufficient enrollment, providing full refunds.
7. Intellectual Property
All programme materials, content, and resources remain the intellectual property of Canopy. Learners receive a personal, non-transferable license to use materials for personal learning only. Prohibited uses include:
- Reproduction or distribution of materials
- Commercial use of content
- Sharing access credentials with non-enrolled individuals
- Modification or creation of derivative works
8. Code of Conduct
Learners agree to:
- Participate respectfully in all programme activities
- Maintain confidentiality of other learners' personal information
- Use community spaces constructively and supportively
- Refrain from disruptive or inappropriate behavior
We reserve the right to remove learners who violate conduct expectations without refund.
9. Disclaimers
Canopy provides financial education, not financial advice. We do not:
- Recommend specific investments or financial products
- Guarantee financial outcomes or results
- Provide personalized financial planning services
- Replace professional financial advisors or legal counsel
All investment and financial decisions remain your responsibility.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Canopy shall not be liable for:
- Financial losses resulting from decisions made using programme information
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Damages exceeding programme fees paid
- Events beyond our reasonable control
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiation between parties
- Mediation if negotiation fails
- Singapore courts as final jurisdiction
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Enrolled learners will be notified of material changes. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
